Thrift Shopping Tips:

  • If you’re a Bloomington-Normal resident, new to the area, or visiting for the weekend, Habitat Restore has something unique for everyone. Shop when the seasons change as this is when most people clean out their homes. You can find garage sale leftovers and other sweet treasures.

  • Ask when the store’s busiest hours are and when they receive the most donations. For ReStore, Tuesday and Saturday are the days with the most activity.

  • Shop frequently. Great merchandise moves fast in thrift stores. Sometimes it's sold the minute the staff sets it out on the floor, so, the more you go, the more you find good stuff

  • Follow us on Facebook and other social media platforms! It's a great way to find out about the freshest inventory and special promotions.

  • Ask about discount days. At Habitat ReStore, we change which colored tags are on sale every 15 days and we post about new sales weekly.
