Highlights from our Grand Re-Opening

the restore renewal expansion project is complete!Thank you to everyone who came out to our Grand Re-Opening celebration on June 2 and to everyone who helped spread the word leading up to the event! We are thrilled to celebrate the end of the ReStore ReNewal construction and the beginning of the expanded ReStore. This expansion is more than just a new building, a fresh parking lot, and a convenient donation drive-through. It’s the start of new growth at Habitat for Humanity of McLean County and in our community as a whole.

The ReStore not only provides affordable household items to our neighbors, it also supports Habitat for Humanity of McLean County in a real and tangible way. The sales from ReStore items allow us to keep our overhead costs at Habitat very low. In the coming years, we hope the ReStore will cover over 100% of Habitat’s operations, meaning we can build more homes alongside local families, donors, and volunteers.

interior view of new parts of the storeWhen you visit the ReStore to donate, shop, or volunteer, you’re making a difference for families in McLean County. Each item you drop off or buy—or both!—brings us one step closer to building a Habitat home. Habitat homes generate income for the community, improve property values in entire neighborhoods, and create stable, healthy environments for families who work hard to secure bright futures for themselves and their children.

Together, we can build a community where everyone has a decent, affordable place to live. Thank you for doing your part.
