ReStore ReNewal

Did you hear we recently expanded?

The ReStore ReNewal project expanReStore Renewalded the Habitat ReStore to approximately 20,000 total square feet. We're at the same location on West Washington, we're just bigger and better. This expansion was an investment into the West Bloomington community. We are excited to continue adding appeal, foot traffic, and money from local sales to the neighborhood and are confident the ReStore ReNewal will spur continued community action to renew this vibrant part of town.

The increased retail space allows the ReStore to sell more merchandise, resulting in higher proceeds and more funding given back to Habitat for Humanity of McLean CountyWithin the first five years of operation after the ReNewal, we expect ReStore proceeds to cover 100% of Habitat McLean County’s administrative costs and help increase the number of homes built annually.

Other features of the project include:

  • Streamlined donation drop-off process with covered donation drive through
  • Increased number of parking spaces
  • Improved visibility from Washington Street with demolition of two decrepit buildings
  • Expanded, modernized retail space for easier shopping

Please consider donating to support the ReStore and our continued impact in the Bloomington-Normal community.
